We are thrilled to join with CSU - Dominguez Hills to host a seminar on Whole Person Leadership. The seminar will feature key APA women in diverse industries and sectors who will share their experiences. The day will focus on APA women becoming more visible.

Our keynote speaker, Daphne Kwok, was selected by President Obama to chair the President’s Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. 

Puanani Burgess, a well-known community building facilitator from Hawaii will facilitate the afternoon session in "Building the Beloved Community."  Puanani will lead attendees in answering questions such as:  What is my story? What is my purpose? How am I connected? 

Attendees from past conferences have said: “It provided an opportunity to meet strong women leaders and learn from their experiences”; “….inspired me to become a leader and make a difference”;  “This was truly a growth opportunity for me.”

* Building the Beloved Community:  Preparation needed for the afternoon workshop. Please come with a bag of your choice, which is symbolic of how you think of your  life. In your bag, please bring two objects:  one which represents the culture you grew up in, and another, which  represents the culture to which you perceive you now belong.
